Security and Surveillance

IP Digital Video Surveillance

Video surveillance is a very valuable asset for nearly every type of business – many businesses depend on it daily for protection. The simple visibility of security cameras is often enough to discourage theft and vandalism. A majority of businesses currently use analog CCTV systems, which certainly provide a degree of protection, but they are also complicated to install, require frequent maintenance and are rather expensive. The largest advantage of using Internet Protocol (IP) cameras is their ability to be substantially customized to fit the needs of any business. They are also less expensive and easy to install and maintain.

IP cameras have many other advantages, including:

- Consistently High Resolution, regardless of distance or motion
- Remote management/monitoring and configuration abilities
- Simplicity of installation makes reconfiguration for changing needs a snap
- NVR (Network Video Recorder) – Enables footage to be broadcast over the internet so
you can check in anytime, including from your internet-capable cell phone
- Multi-User Access – Camera views can be seen by multiple people simultaneously
- Interactive Applications – Users can receive an email or text message when an alarm is triggered
- Power Loss Protection – Easy and cost effective implementation
- Intelligence – Cameras can record on movement only (reduces workload), backlight enhancement, etc.
- IP Security Cameras are perfect for personal use and in many business situations, especially home and property management.
